Prayer Ministry
Michelle Heidemann, Director
First Baptist Church of Black Forest prays! Our people pray for the needs of our church, our members, and their loved ones. We pray for those experiencing health issues, emotional concerns, and other needs in their lives. Our prayers extend to local, state, national and international in scope.
The Prayer Guide is a general guide for your prayer time. A more detailed version is updated weekly and available each Wednesday evening at the 6:00 pm church prayer time, by email, and here on the church website.
Mission Team Prayer Request
Please join with the Mission’s Team in praying for Kathleen and her partner, Chris. Kathleen asked us as a church to pray for:
1. Learning language skills and the transition to be smooth
2. God be with them as they teach first aid skills
3. To raise up coordinators
4. To prepare the peoples’ hearts
5. To prepare Kathleen’s and Chris’ hearts
6. To spread the gospel rapidly
7. To raise up an indigenous church
Thank you for praying for our missionaries as they serve the Lord.
One of our church's goals is to be known in our community as a House of Prayer. We believe that prayer is not only powerful, but essential in our lives - both individually and corporately. This ministry seeks to meet needs by sharing through prayer the joys, praises, and concerns of daily living. We receive comfort, strength, encouragement and the spiritual growth that comes from an intimate relationship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. If you would like to know more about accepting Jesus into your life, we would be delighted to share with you. Prayer requests are e-mailed to church members, daily if needed. Our Prayer Room is open whenever the church building is. If you have a prayer need or request, we would like to pray for you. You may contact our staff by phone at 719 495-4185, or complete the form below. Your request will be handled according to your choice of confidentiality.
Our Prayer Room is near the main entrance south of the Atrium and is available whenever the building is open. Please take advantage of this peaceful place to come and pray.
