The James Team Ministry

Based on the scriptural principles espoused in the book of James, the James Team ministry is a framework for putting our faith into action, being “doers and not just hearers of the Word." The goals of this ministry are to support needs and share the Gospel both within the church body and the local community. Several of our existing ministries, as well as some additional ones, are coordinated under one umbrella in hopes of increasing our effectiveness in serving those in need. The James Team focuses on the following areas of ministry:
The variety and extent of these areas allows for everyone to have an opportunity to find a place of ministry where we can be actively involved in the church body. The pastoral staff, FAITH ministry, Administration Team, Deacons and LIFE groups work closely with the James Team ministry to insure that our church family has their spiritual, physical and financial needs met in a Christ-like way.
Currently, we have active ministries with leaders / coordinators in the areas of Meal delivery, Food Pantry, and the overall leader/ coordinator for the James Team ministry. We are seeking individuals who will serve as leaders / coordinators for the areas of Bereavement, House and Home, Clothes Closet and Automotive ministries. Also, we need a number of individuals who are willing to serve in each of these areas. The greater the number of those who can serve, the more effective we can be and the less burdensome the responsibilities will be for each of us.
